Delivery Policy

At Gilded Stems, all arrangements are created to order using fresh flowers and delivered with care. This Delivery Policy explains how and when we deliver, and what to expect.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to selected areas within the United Kingdom.
Availability and delivery charges will be confirmed at checkout.

If you require delivery outside our standard areas or for large corporate orders, please contact us in advance.

2. Delivery Dates & Times

  • Delivery dates are selected at checkout.

  • While we aim to deliver within the stated time window, specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

  • Deliveries may take place anytime between 8:00am and 8:00pm, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Flowers are delivered by hand or via trusted couriers experienced in handling perishable goods.

3. Recipient Availability

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • The delivery address is correct and complete

  • The recipient is available to receive the order where required

  • Any access instructions (concierge, gate codes, safe places) are provided

If no one is available, the courier may:

  • Leave the flowers in a safe place

  • Leave them with a neighbour

  • Attempt redelivery (additional charges may apply)

Refunds cannot be guaranteed where delivery fails due to recipient unavailability or incorrect details.

4. Same-Day & Time-Sensitive Deliveries

Same-day or time-specific deliveries are offered subject to availability and must be placed before the stated cut-off time.

While every effort is made to meet time-sensitive requests, these cannot be guaranteed, particularly during busy periods.

5. External Factors

Gilded Stems cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Traffic disruption

  • Industrial action

  • Courier delays

In such cases, refunds are not automatic, but we will always aim to resolve issues fairly.

6. Corporate & Large-Scale Deliveries

Corporate, event and large-volume deliveries may be subject to:

  • Separate delivery terms

  • Agreed delivery windows

  • Additional charges

These will be confirmed in writing prior to acceptance.
